Growth is exciting, but it can also be chaotic
When your business starts to take off, success brings new challenges: more customers, more employees, and far more decisions. Suddenly, your head is full of details, priorities shift daily, and it feels like you’re carrying the entire company in your mind.
That’s exactly where I found myself a few years after starting my company. We were growing fast, but everything depended on me - every question, every problem, every decision. Meetings lacked focus, priorities changed week to week, and even though we were succeeding, it often felt like we were running in too many directions at once.
Everything changed when I discovered the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS®), a practical framework that helped turn that chaos into clarity and eventually inspired the creation of Purpose Path AI, an AI business operating system that brings structure, focus, and purpose to growing businesses.
The Early Days: Building a Business from Scratch
In 2012, I founded Pioneer B1, an SAP Business One consulting and implementation partner. Having spent years in the ERP and technology space, I saw a real need for expertise that combined deep software knowledge with a customer-first mindset.
The business took off quickly. Our customers valued our dedication and responsiveness, and soon I found myself expanding the team to meet growing demand. But that’s when new challenges began.
While I excelled in technology and strategy, I hadn’t yet mastered how to build and manage a values-driven team. I hired based on skills and budget rather than shared purpose and cultural fit. Over time, this approach led to turnover, frustration, and at times, disappointed customers I truly cared about.
Discovering the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS)
Everything began to change when I joined a Vistage group in Scottsdale, Arizona, where I was introduced to the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS®) - a proven structure for helping business leaders clarify their vision, align teams, and execute consistently.
With the guidance of my colleague and now partner, Motty Chen, a business coach and software developer, we began implementing EOS principles across the company.
We took time to clearly define our core values, vision, and long-term purpose. From there, we built structure into how we operated, aligning hiring, communication, processes, and decision-making with those values.

As we embedded these principles, we realized that spending time discussing shared values, holding weekly meetings, and conducting quarterly planning didn’t slow us down. It created clarity, focus, and accountability - and ultimately helped the team move faster together with greater confidence and purpose.
The Power of EOS in Business Transformation
The impact wasn’t overnight, but the shift was clear. For the first time, we had a structured way to capture and prioritize issues without constant firefighting. I knew every challenge would be handled thoughtfully, based on agreed priorities and accountability.
As we strengthened our values and vision, the team naturally evolved to reflect that shared mindset. Everyone began pulling in the same direction, focused on a common purpose.
We consistently grew year over year through organic growth, with customers who became true fans and employees who genuinely enjoyed working together. Our culture extended beyond work - we often spent time together after hours, supporting one another personally and professionally.
The company evolved into a united team driven by shared purpose and values, resulting in lower turnover, stronger alignment, happier customers, and a leadership team that operated with greater clarity and focus.
Ultimately, this clarity also helped me successfully sell Pioneer B1Â in 2020 to Sapphire Systems, a UK-based firm expanding into the U.S. market.
Applying EOS Beyond Business
After selling the company, I spent a couple of years leading a local nonprofit organization as a volunteer. Naturally, I applied many of the same EOS-inspired principles - defining clear goals, shared values, and measurable outcomes.
At first, the team thought our objectives were overly ambitious. But once we aligned around a shared vision and tracked our progress systematically, we surpassed even the most optimistic expectations.
This experience reinforced one of the most important lessons I’ve learned: when people align around purpose and structure, incredible results follow.
From EOS to AI: The Birth of Purpose Path AI
A few years later, Motty and I began exploring how AIÂ could enhance business management systems. We realized that while EOS provides an amazing foundation for alignment and growth, implementing it effectively requires time, coaching, and discipline - not always accessible for small and midsize organizations.
That’s how Purpose Path AI was born.
We designed it as an AI-powered business coach that applies key EOS principles - along with other proven leadership and performance frameworks, to help companies connect their purpose, values, and vision with daily execution.

Purpose Path AI helps leaders to:Â
Keep their teams aligned and accountableÂ
Translate long-term vision into actionable plansÂ
Track progress in real timeÂ
Make purpose-driven decisions with confidence
In many ways, Purpose Path AI draws inspiration from EOS® and similar frameworks to bring structure, clarity, and focus to the day-to-day operations of growing organizations.
The Power of Purpose and Systems
Implementing EOS was one of the most transformative experiences of my career.
It showed me that purpose and structure are not opposites but partners in creating clarity and sustainable growth.
With Purpose Path AI, we’re bringing those same transformative principles to other organizations - helping them achieve alignment, focus, and growth faster than ever before.
If you’re exploring ways to bring more clarity and purpose into your organization, Purpose Path was built from lessons learned on our own journey toward alignment and sustainable growth.
